Hey Bob, here’s a couple photos of the clothes that we donated to the Huichol. I would really like to thank you for all the work that you’ve done getting these clothes, school supplies and toothbrushes for the Huichol.
San Andres Cohamiata is a Huichol Indian Ceremonial Center located deep in the Sierra Madre Mountains of Western Mexico. I actually had to fly all of the supplies up there as the road takes almost 2days to get there. The Huichol that live in the community are rich in terms of culture but are struggling economically. Subsistance farmers they depend on their corn harvest and one bad harvest can mean disaster.
